Carriers of His Glory

The Lord requested one of the most humble, small animals to enter into town. A donkey, use to carry heavy loads. Short on statue, was used, called upon and set apart to bring Jesus in. Celebration, music, shouting, laugh, and happiness as he enters in. The little donkey sees himself as he walk in the middle of the road, head held high. Not because of him, but because of the one he carries. Could you imagine when this donkey was return to the stables; his happiness and delight to be used as a carrier off His glory. Today The Lord calls us donkeys, for we are carriers off His glory here on earth. So no matter where you go today remember who is in you. Who you represent. No matter where we go today remember that God himself is in you, so don’t take for granted your small steps or humble beginnings and remember who you carry within you. For greater is he that is in you that he that’s in the world. Take your 1st step and enter in, for we are carriers of His Glory. Amen Ivette Diaz-Yee 2022

His Glory

I had the opportunity to walk the grounds of one of the most beautiful oldest colleges in the Midwest. Voted #1 best value liberal art college in the nation. With students from 26 countries, with a variety of faith backgrounds. 125 years of history within the walls. Thousand of prayers. As I walk inside the old church, feeling and letting my imagination run, I could hear the hymns sung. The many messages preach over the pulpit. Many lives were changed because of their dedication and submission to God. Their willingness to let go of self so they could find God's purpose for their life and the reason they were created for. Going after their destiny. Running after God. Available, faithful, and teachable. I would love to be a fly on the wall so I could experience what they experienced. As I continue to move up the stairs every step is bringing me closer to a new revelation. I come across hundreds of volumes on church history. Walls full of books. Years of history in each book. Each step brings me closer to what awaits me at the end of the room. As I walked by I noticed the big church organ. A small desk with the college information. Wing chair sits by the window. I feel peace in the room. I stood there for what looked like an eternity, not wanting to move. Reluctantly I made it down the stairs. Just to come up once again. I wanted to take pictures of the precious room up the stairs. Something special with the small room. To capture the moment it that was possible. This time I bring my daughter and my phone. I wanted the picture of me sitting by the window. My daughter took some shoots and we left. Sometime later as I am going over the pictures I notice the light coming out of one of the pictures of me sitting by the window. Then I realize that thanks to technology we were able to have a glimpse of heaven, the rays of glory, His presence was tangible and we captured. This is the 2nd time in the last few months that I am able to capture glimpses of heavens. If we are willing to press on. If we yield to His presence. If we search for more of him. If we thirst and hunger for more of him. We be able to find him. For his presence filled the room. The light of heavens came down and dwell among us. His presence was felt and he allowed me to fill it too. I don't know about you but when we look for him with all our heart, mind and soul, he will not disappoint us. For he will meet us there. I saw the old church, I went inside looking for Him and I found him. For he waited for me sitting by the window, overlooking the Mississippi River below. Our Lord and Saviour is calling. He is willing to meet with you at the most unexpected times. Don't allow distractions to move you. Don't allow what is taking place around us to rob us of having intimacy with the Lord. I am on vacation. I didn't have plans for an encounter, But The Lord gifted me with his peace, his presence, and his love. Ivette Diaz-Yee July 2023 Principia College Elsah, Illinois

Welcome (Finishing Strong)

Welcome -gladly received into ones presence or companionship. -designed to introduce a person to a new place. Well-Come Well- wise, efficiently Come-draw near, move closer, move near Another piece in my 22 days until the New Year, or perhaps a new season. One of the reasons I am here today; able to move forward and able to finish this year strong is because I learn to welcome God into every aspect off my life. Even into the smallest detail. Our Lord and savior is always ready to help, lead and direct us on how, or where or how to hold on or when to let go. I was amaze to see his hand at work in my life; even those areas that I thought they where insignificant or irrelevant. I was able to see and understand that God is attentive to every detail of my life. I had to learn to WELL-COME him in to the secret places off my heart , mind and soul. When we allowed him and we make room for him, he is ready to bring us into his embrace. Learn to seek his face and you would find his heart. Coming closer to him would be the must wise and effective thing we could do. Today God is waiting for you to welcome him in to those areas forgotten deep inside your soul. Tomorrow may be to late. Colossians 2:6 “Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him” S❤BG 2022

Pillars of The Church

In the beginning was God and God was with us. The foundation lies where He was the founder. The one, the only. But then.... that’s when things and situations started to come in and they shifted their attention to the foundation, and then; they became the founding ones. The ones who stood in the mist. Slow fade. Without notice almost as in invincible hand was playing and switching things around. Man became prideful, arrogance lead then and ego took over. “Don’t look at me they claim, and yet they love the acclamation off the people. People waited patently for the word that he man would bring. Not knowing that God has been trying to speak in so many ways. Voices had been shut off, and the love of God had been replaced by theology. Fear of God had become fear of man. Smoke and light had also replaced the anointing. We keep an eye on the clock in order not to go over time. The building stands tall and crowded. But the pillars that once held the structures are becoming feeble. Our Lord is calling. But are we listening? “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” Hosea 4:6 Ivette Diaz-Yee

Resting In God

what is rest..?Do we know the true meaning Of the word? How do we find rest in a world full of activities, distractions, and goals? This was my devotion a few weeks ago. “Come with me by yourself to a quiet place and get some rest” Mark 6:31 To get the rest we so much need we ought to disciple ourselves and just learn how to do it. Give yourself the time for just you and God. Not studying or researching something. Just sitting quietly allowing Yourself to be wrapped in His presence. Go out and take a quiet walk. Nowadays we don’t know how is done. Is as much as a requirement to learn how to REST IN HIM. So many of us are multi-task, We could cook, clean, and do laundry all at the same time, and the enemy uses our abilities to keep us busy, occupied, distracted, and eventually burn out. God is looking for our 100% not our 25% The enemy would even keep us busy with our ministries, jobs, calendars, and agendas. He would use everything for his gain and eventually, he would have the upper hand with us. We need to go against our flesh. Healing our wounded hearts and our emotions. Recognize the enemy's new strategy ways; a mental attack that would become mental unrest. So today, take time away from everyone and everything and allow yourself some rest. Take a stroll by the beach or the park. Sit quietly by the porch and let the birds sing to you. Recharge your body your mind and your souls. Rest: cease work or movement to relax, refresh oneself, or recover strength. Relax, ease up/off Today let your soul find rest in The Lord. Rest: Having the confidence that God would do what He said He would do. For we serve a God who doesn’t lie. Numbers 23:19 “Though it lingers wait for it: it will certainly come and will not delay”. Habb 2:3 Today take time to rest in him. May 2020

It hasn’t been easy to write this devotion today. When the Lord gave this word as part of my victory words for the year, I thought He must be joking, specially after the week that I had. 

It make me realize we are in spiritual warfare , but God has prepare us for what we are going thru and experiencing today. 

As I look at the word again I see it different ; for I see WAR-SHIP 

Today we are inside the warship, ready, prepare and  trained for battle. As we lift up our anchor of faith, we allowed God to move us, where he wants us to go. It may look similar and familiar, but don’t be taken by surprise, we are going towards something new. 

So as the children’s off Israel did every time they went in to battle, prepare yourself, find your battle cry and move forward worshiping the Lord of Lord and the king of kings.  

Worship is not a song but a way of live. It’s part off your every day. Worship can push your destiny, and cleanse you of your past. Worship also brings healing to the soul and breaks generational curse. So today worship God with everything you had. 

Psalms 34:8

“Taste and see that the Lord is good”

A few weeks ago the Lord gave a word out of Joshua 3.  As I listen to the word playing around me I feel something jump inside off me. I remember the word He gave me a few years ago, as I prepare myself to go on a mission trip (2009) “consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you” v.5. I remember the word He spoke to my heart and today He is bringing the word back to my heart, but in a different way.  “You would know which way to go, since you have never been this way before.” v4  

The Lord was instructing Joshua in want to do next. He in return was telling the priest what was required of them to do: And the officers went around camp given orders to the people. The priest went ahead of them, until the reach the edge of the river, and their feet touched the waters edge. The water from upstream stopped flowing and the water flowing down was completely cut off” 

As soon as the priest step in, the waters stopped flowing and they stood in dry ground. I could see the ragging waters all around us.  The many voices calling out for your attention. The unrest of people. The division.  The anger, the insecurity and all the distractions, confusion, insecurities, fears,pain. God is telling me to step out into the ragging waters around me. To trust him with my whole heart and to move forward.   My heart is aches for everything that is taking place around me.

As I sit a church during Good Friday, I rushed on from work so I could attend a service. The worship team is playing, people all around me are talking with the music and the sounds. Some are praying, others are enjoying the service and some of us are interceding for the church body.  I see one of the young adults and I am able to see God is doing something in them , not just Elizabeth but all of them. The Lord once again brings the word He gave me days prior. I had come to understand that the word he speak to my heart is not for me but to this he wants me to share.  He had me walk to one of the girls. I didn’t want to bother her, she is prostrate in from of God. I don’t want to bother or break the intimate moments she is having with the Lord. I am fighting with my self. until I can’t any longer and I allowed my self to go and lay hands on her and prayed over her. God is raising this young girls to be able to step over the raging waters of society, to take that step in to and to trust Him with their tomorrow. Where they going as a whole not just one of two but all 3. They had to come against what is trying to bring the down, stop them or silence they voices. The have a complete generation to reach. 

It has taken me a long while to write this because I want to come out of my way.  I don’t want to be just words type in a letter. I take very seriously the words the Lord speaks to my heart. So as I hold on pray and make sure The Lord is the one leading me, not me or what I think I should or said, once again I see this beautiful girls and this time as I prayed I see a glass bottle full of lighting bugs. They all flying around the big glass bottle, going up to the top, just to have a lid on it. 

Last night during our intercessory prayer as we sat down and prayed over our young the Lord brought to mind everything he has been speaking to my heart. I pray that this would help you. He has me praying for few of them.  God is speaking to our church and He is raising a new wine, new spirit within our wall. I believed is up to us:  mature leaders to protect them, guide them and lead them in the way of the Lord. As it as said last night “Discipleship” is needed.   Spirituals Mothers, fathers  and sisters are needed to help generation to move ahead.

Healing Comes Out Of Chaos

  “Healing Comes Out Of Chaos”

In 2 Chronicles 7:14  The Lord gave us a mandate. “ if my people” talks about us. 

I wrote a devotional few weeks ago which talks about if my people would really humble and really seek the Lord. 

and today  he brings the same devotion, but in a different perspective. 

Through this pandemic we have learned how to truly and honestly humble ourselves truly repent from our inner self and expose the heart. We have learned how to repent from our indifference and our attitude that “it doesn’t concern me, it has nothing to do with me”kind off respond. 

The Lord has used the riots to expose the heart of a nation and his people.

God is using what came to divide us what had brought chaos and mayhem for good; his  people are coming out of hiding like Gideon and they had taken their rightful position and standing in the gab. 

The Lord uses the riots to expose the heart of our nation.  As we continue seeking him fighting in prayer he direct our steps. 

A house divided will not stand so we go together hundreds off us, in prayer, repentance and humility and seek God for answers. 

We don’t know what to do  but our eyesight are upon him. His righteousness hand will deliver us and save us. 

Not because we are better than anybody else but because the love that he has for us , because of his grace  and because of his  great mercy we are  not consume , for his mercy is renew every morning. 

He said to put our house in order and we are trying; it would  take years but we are making the efforts exposing the plans of the enemy and making changes. 

The Lord himself will bring the victory he had  reserved those whose knees has not bow down to the Baal of this world.  (1 King 19:18) they had not allowed fear and intimidation to bend them down. 

He has heard our prayers and seeing our tears he will healed us. (2 King 20:5b)

He will give us rest in the years to come. 

It won’t be without a fight it and won’t be easy either , but it will be worth it. 

America has been awaken, the sleeping beauty has been raised up from her slumber. Eyes had been open. Everything has been exposed , secret has been revealed and God will restore us back to our former glory. 

And yes the Lord uses ordinary men and women’s ; dislike people and hated people to fight for us God’s people. 

The word of God said  “But God  chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise God chose the wicked things of the world to shame the strong and he chose  the lowly things of this world and the despised things and the things that are not to nullify the things they are so that no one may boast before him” 1 Corth 1:27

As I said before everything would happen and it would take place according to heavens agenda. Today we are fighting for the souls of our nation. For our freedom our healing and our restoration. And it would come , but not without a fight. Together we stand. Divide we are weak.  Preservation in the mist of chaos. By Gods grace and goodness He will give us the victory. This is all distractions and smoke screen. Open your eyes.
